Posted by Sandy Burke, Kenduskeag, June 11, 2007: I can't get my hands on the breakdown for lien cost. Is there somewhere I can get it on line or if anyone wants to help me out I would appreciate it!

Responses: Its $39 for all the lien costs and then $5.21 for certified mail. The $39 includes the $13 fee for the registry. It might be more or less in York county. Hope this helps. (Scott Gesuldi, Rangeley)

I just did all my liens and the costs were,$3.00 Demand fee, $4.64 30 Day Notice Certified Mail fee, Town Fees $10.00, $13.00 to register lien, $13.00 for discharge of lien, total $ 43.64 that is if they do not have a Lien Holder, if there is a lien holder add another $4.64 to the total that will be $48.28. Since I have put my liens on the certified mail cost have gone up so make sure you add the difference. (Geneva Beckwith, Shirley)
