This is my first year processing W-2's and I need help with a CODE for Box 14 .  TRIO tells me that IRS will provide a code and IRS tells me that Box 14 is optional and they do not provide codes for it.  How do I have information (such as employee contributions to MEPERS) in Box 14 ????? Thank for any help you can provide!

(Thank you very much to everyone who responded to my plea for help with TRIO/W-2's.  The response was overwhelmingly wonderful and my problem is solved!  What a comfort to have such helpful and dedicated colleagues!
