We're looking for policies regarding Municipal Employees that are also first responders for Fire, Rescue or Fire Police. For example a full-time Town Hall employee that is also a firefighter and there is a structure fire during Town Hall hours; what is your policy in allowing the employee to leave Town Hall to help fight the fire?

Fire and Ambulance Calls
5.18 Town employees that respond to emergency fire or ambulance calls will not lose pay as a result.
The Selectmen have a policy that non-union employees will have same benefits as union. (Karen Motycka, Castine)
